1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Tathyansh ("we," "our," "us," or "the Platform"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Reader," or "you") and Tathyansh regarding your access to and use of the website https://tathyansh.com, the Tathyansh mobile applications for Android and iOS, our digital E-Paper platform, RSS feeds, push notifications, and any related digital services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing, browsing, downloading, or using any part of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately refrain from using the Services.

2. Eligibility & User Accounts

A. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use our Services. By registering an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

B. Account Registration & Security

• Certain features of our Services—such as bookmarking, viewing personal reading history, commenting on articles, and purchasing memberships—require you to register an account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your profile details updated.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (email and password) and for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at support@tathyansh.com if you suspect any unauthorized access or security breach involving your account.

C. Account Deletion

You have the right to terminate your account at any time. You can delete your account directly inside the mobile app (Profile > Delete Account) or by emailing a request to support@tathyansh.com. Upon deletion, your account and associated personal data will be permanently purged in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

3. Intellectual Property Rights & Fair Use

A. Ownership of Editorial Content

All materials published on Tathyansh—including, but not limited to, news articles, investigative reports, features, opinions, headlines, photographs, graphics, illustrations, audio clips, podcasts, videos, digital E-Paper page layouts, logos, trademarks, and source code (collectively, "Content")—are the proprietary intellectual property of Tathyansh or our licensed content partners, protected under Indian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

B. Limited License to Users

Tathyansh grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access, view, and read the Content on your personal computer, smartphone, or tablet strictly for your personal, non-commercial use.

C. Prohibited Uses

Unless you have obtained prior written authorization from Tathyansh, you agree NOT to:

1. Reproduce, redistribute, republish, duplicate, broadcast, license, or sell any Content from Tathyansh.
2. Use automated tools, robots, spiders, scrapers, data-mining scripts, or crawling software to systematically extract or index our articles, headlines, E-Paper pages, or API feeds.
3. Use Tathyansh Content, articles, or news data to train, fine-tune, or benchmark Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Large Language Models (LLMs) without a formal commercial licensing agreement.
4. Frame or mirror any portion of the Tathyansh website or mobile application within another website or app.
5. Bypass or modify any copyright notices, watermarks, digital rights management (DRM), paywalls, or security mechanisms employed on the Platform.

D. Social Sharing & Quotation

You are welcome to share article links across social media platforms, messaging apps, and email using our built-in sharing features. Brief quotations from our articles are permitted under the doctrine of Fair Dealing / Fair Use, provided that clear and prominent attribution to "Tathyansh" with an active hyperlink back to the original article on tathyansh.com is included.

4. Digital E-Paper Services & PDF Editions

1. Personal Reading Only: Daily digital newspaper editions and downloadable PDF pages published in our E-Paper section are intended solely for individual reading.
2. Redistribution Prohibited: You may not re-upload, broadcast, email in bulk, or distribute Tathyansh E-Paper PDF files or page screenshots to public WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels, websites, or social media platforms.
3. Availability: While we endeavor to publish the daily edition in a timely manner every morning, publication times may vary due to breaking news coverage, technical maintenance, or network constraints.

5. User Conduct & Community Guidelines

Tathyansh encourages constructive reader engagement through comments, reactions, and interactive polls. By participating in our community, you agree to adhere to the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and agree that your comments will NOT contain content that:

1. Is defamatory, libelous, abusive, threatening, harassing, vulgar, obscene, or hateful.
2. Promotes discrimination, hostility, or violence on the grounds of religion, race, caste, community, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
3. Contains verified falsehoods, misinformation, rumors, or intentionally deceptive news ("fake news").
4. Infringes the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or trade secrets of any third party.
5. Contains unauthorized promotional material, advertisements, spam, affiliate referral links, or malware.
6. Threatens the unity, integrity, defense, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order.

Moderation & Enforcement

Tathyansh reserves the unconditional right (but assumes no obligation) to monitor, review, reject, edit, or permanently remove any user comment, reaction, or submission that violates these Terms, and to temporarily suspend or permanently ban repeat violators from commenting.

6. Paid Memberships, Subscriptions & Purchases

1. Digital Purchases: Tathyansh may offer premium ad-free memberships, special investigative series, or pay-per-post articles.
2. External Checkout: Subscriptions and payments are completed via authorized, encrypted payment processors in the browser.
3. Cancellation & Refunds: Due to the immediate digital delivery and non-returnable nature of online journalism and E-Paper content, subscription fees and single-article purchases are non-refundable once access has been provisioned, except where mandated by applicable consumer protection laws or in the event of proven duplicate billing errors. 4. Ad-Free Benefit: Paid subscribers in good standing receive an ad-free viewing experience across the website and mobile app during their active billing period.

7. Advertisements, Rewarded Ads & External Links

1. Third-Party Advertisements: The Services display commercial advertisements powered by Google AdMob, direct sponsors, and affiliate networks. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any product, service, claim, or transaction promoted by third-party advertisers.
2. Rewarded Video Ads: Free readers may choose to watch short rewarded video ads to temporarily unlock premium articles, download daily E-Paper editions, or activate temporary ad-free passes. Access is granted on a per-session or per-article basis upon verified completion of the video. The availability of rewarded ads depends on third-party ad inventory and is not guaranteed at all times.
3. Third-Party Links: Our articles and ads may contain links to external third-party websites or services. Tathyansh exercises no control over the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of external websites, and clicking external links is done entirely at your own risk.

8. Editorial Disclaimers & Accuracy of News

1. Journalistic Endeavor: Tathyansh strives to adhere to rigorous editorial standards, factual verification, and responsible journalism. However, due to the rapid nature of breaking news developments, information may evolve rapidly. Content is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.
2. Opinion & Columnist Pieces: Views, editorial opinions, analyses, or columns authored by contributing writers, columnists, or interviewees represent their personal perspectives and do not necessarily reflect the official stance or editorial policy of Tathyansh.
3. Informational Purpose (Not Professional Advice): News coverage concerning financial markets, legal matters, medical/health developments, or technology is published solely for general informational purposes and must not be construed as professional financial, legal, or medical advice. 9. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

1. No Warranty: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tathyansh expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uptime, title, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, timely, secure, or free from viruses or harmful components.
2. Limitation of Liability: Under no circumstances shall Tathyansh, its editors, journalists, founders, directors, employees, affiliates, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages (including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business reputation) arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, our website, mobile application, or Content, regardless of the legal theory invoked.
3. In jurisdictions where limitations of liability are restricted, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Tathyansh (if any) in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tathyansh, its parent entity, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, journalists, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal and attorney fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms or any applicable laws or regulations.
• Any content, comments, or materials you post, submit, or transmit through our Platform.
• Your unauthorized infringement of third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.

11. Termination & Suspension

Tathyansh reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without prior notice, to suspend or terminate your account, restrict your commenting privileges, or block your access to all or part of the Services if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in unlawful behavior, compromised platform security, or abused our digital community.

12. Governing Law, Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

1. Governing Law: These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
2. Jurisdiction: Any legal action, dispute, or proceeding arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.
3. Good-Faith Resolution: Before initiating formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any grievance or dispute amicably by contacting our support desk at support@tathyansh.com.

13. Grievance Redressal Mechanism

In compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, Tathyansh has appointed a designated Grievance Officer to address reader complaints regarding editorial content, ethics code violations, comments, or platform disputes:
